Peru Eco Expeditions’ Policies
Booking Policies:
*All reservations must be initiated with a Peru Eco Expeditions’ agent via our Contact Form or directly at info@peruecoexpeditions.com.
*Peru Eco Expeditions requires the following information in order to officially confirm services:
– Copy of Each Participant’s Passport
– 50% Preliminary Deposit (100% Prepayment for Day Trips)
– Proof of Medical Insurance and/or Travel Insurance for Each Participant
*Highly recommended, but not required
– Disclosure of Any Pre-Existing Medical Conditions for Each Participant
– Disclosure of Any Special Dietary Requirements for Each Participant
Items Required Upon Arrival to Cusco:
– Copy of Peruvian Immigration Stamp (Received Upon Arrival to Peru)
– Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to the departure of the expedition.
Note:
– Participants are required to cover the costs of any additional medical / evacuation services should these services be necessary during the operation of the experience.
Payment Types & Policies:
Peru Eco Expeditions accepts two types of payments – credit cards via an online secured payment link and direct bank wire transfers into our business account. The majority of our day trips include the transaction processing fee for credit card payments in our listed per person prices. If the transaction fee is not included in the price than a 6% processing fee will be incurred. Clients that choose to pay us via bank wire transfer must cover the transaction fee that is assessed at their processing bank.
Day Trip Cancellation Policies:
- Cancellations made after the payment has been received until 30-days prior to operation do not incur any cancellation fees, however, any assessed bank transaction fees required to refund the monies to the client will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Cancellations made 30-days prior to 15-days prior will incur a 50% cancellation fee as well as any assessed bank transaction fees required to refund the monies to the client.
- Cancellations made after 15-days prior will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
- Final count will be due 48 hours prior to operation.
- In the event of an unforeseen circumstance that would inhibit travel (i.e. natural disaster) Peru Eco Expeditions would not charge a cancellation fee, however, the client would still be liable to cover any incurred costs from third party vendors as well as any assessed bank transaction fees required to refund the monies to the client.
Full Expedition Cancellation Policies:
- Cancellations made after the initial deposit is received will incur a $200.00 administration fee as well as any assessed bank transaction fees required to refund the monies to the client.
- Cancellations made 90-days prior to 60-days prior will incur a 50% cancellation fee as well as any assessed bank transaction fees required to refund the monies to the client.
- Cancellations made after 60-days prior will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
- Inca Trail Treks are 50% non-refundable once confirmed.
- In the event of an unforeseen circumstance that would inhibit travel (i.e. natural disaster) Peru Eco Expeditions would only charge the $500.00 administrative fee. The client would still be liable to cover any incurred costs from third party vendors.
*Note: The cancellation policies listed above reflect our standard policies. Specific cancellation policies will be listed in each proposal that is sent to our clients that reflect the terms & conditions for the exact inclusions of their itinerary.
Personal Data Protection Policy:
Peru Eco Expeditions does not share personal client information or data with any third parties who are not affiliated with the operation of our services.
Other Legal Policies:
Peru Eco Expeditions is a legally permitted travel agency that abides by all mandated rules & regulations stipulated by the Peruvian government, which includes Law 30802.
